SCHMIDT® Flow Sensor SS 20.400

The air flow sensor significantly increases operating safety in laboratories and clean rooms in the pharmaceutical, food, electronics production technology and spray booths. Its bidirectional measurement of air flows can be used to that, even in depressed region with the smallest air currents (0.05 m/s), the operational safety is continuously maintained. The sensor is equipped with its all-metal design, a design according to GMP. Its scope of application is in the control of overflows and monitoring.

The air flow sensor continuously monitors the flow in cleanrooms and other clean areas. The sensors are equipped with a cleanroom-compatible quick mounting system. In addition to the continuous air flow measurement, the air flow direction is also measured by the thermophile measuring principle. Thus backflows can be avoided.

The air flow sensor is extremely compact. Besides its application in laboratories and cleanrooms, it is also used in machines for which an accurate air flow must be recorded. Its bi-directional measuring of air flow starts at the lowest detection limit of 0.05 m/s. Air flows of up to 10 m/s can be measured with the lowest electrical power consumption.

The air flow sensor continuously monitors the flow in cleanrooms and other clean areas. The sensors are equipped with a cleanroom-compatible quick mounting system. The sensor can be used in corrosive media environment.

The dumbbell head design allows an easy cleaning of the sensor.
